T In The Park festival-goers have shared a mixed reaction to the announcement that The Killers will be the third and final headliner at this year's Scottish event.

Fans on Twitter yesterday reacted harshly to the announcement that Rihanna and Mumford & Sons were headlining the 2013 festival, with one saying he 'would rather die' than watch the 'Diamonds' hitmaker perform. With the announcement today of The Killers joining the line-up, festival goers have spoken of their excitement for the festival - while others have criticised the booking, as the band previously headlined the festival in 2007.

"T in the park tickets gettin ordered soon as I get paid," tweeted Jay Collins, while others revealed that despite not being fans of the festival, having two of the world's biggest new bands on the line-up made the festival tempting.

"As much as I hate T in the park the fact that mumford and sons and the killers are headlining acts I'm really contemplating going!" tweeted Josephine Grant.

"Buzzing for T in the park already," tweeted Drew Erskine. "Mumford and sons, The Killers, Jake Bugg, Of Monsters and Men and Alt-J, all I need now is a Dj."

Rihanna's booking was unpopular with T In The Park fans

There were still negative responses from fans disappointed with the bookings.

"T In The Park more like Repeat In The Park *facepalm*" tweeted Brian Guy, disappointed at The Killers' repear booking, while others predicted a future struggle for the festival.

"R.I.P t in the park you had a good run but clearly this year it's over," tweeted Ross Corcoran.
