Ahead of the release of his second solo album, Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumours, Big Boi has unveiled new track 'High Res'. Listen to the track below.
While there are several collaboration on the new album that won't surprise too many people - Kid Cudi and T.I., for example - the new track features Little Dragon and elusive producer Jai Paul.
But there may be a fair few fans who feel slightly disappointed with 'High Res'.
Sounding a bit like what you'd imagine a digital cloud would be composed of, there's not much to get hold of. Big Boi's lyrics never seem to rise to the top of the mix, while an awkwardly belligerent snare beat annoyingly persists.
Jai Paul's distinctive style is apparent throughout, and it does nothing to quell the anticipation for the forthcoming album, but many will have hoped for more from such a collaboration.
