The Weeknd has added three additional London shows to his 2013 tour of the UK after huge demand to see the rising R&B star. Ticket details below.

The 'High for This' star, who has stunned music fans with his slick, laidback sounds in a world crammed with 'Pound The Alarms' will return to the UK in March 2013. His short tour begins on the 20 March at the Manchester Ritz before performing dates in Glasgow and Birmingham before hitting London for four shows at the Electric Ballroom - three of which have been added today (6 December, 2012).

His recent London show was an exclusive performance for fans following the release of Trilogy, a collection of the mixtapes he has released over the past year.

Tickets for The Weeknd's 2013 shows go on sale at 9am, Friday 7 December 2012.

Speaking to the NME after his recent London show at The Supper Club in London on 25 November has spoke of the pressure of performing his first ever UK show.

"There was so much pressure coming in," he told the magazine. "But I've played it well because being off the circuit has allowed me to practise with this band back home in Toronto for months."

The Weeknd's Trilogy is one of 2012's best r&b releases

He also added that his Trilogy had been planned since his first release, saying: "I knew the second I finished the first record – 'House Of Balloons' – and had all this material leftover that a trilogy would be best."
