Blur have added to their increasingly busy schedule in 2013, despite being yet to announce any live shows in the UK, with a headline slot booked at Norwegian festival Oya.
The Britpop icons, who thrilled UK fans with a Hyde Park gig to mark the end of London 2012 in the summer this year, have been named as the first headliner for the 2013 festivals, which takes place in Oslo, Norway, between 6-10 August next summer. Also named on the line-up are Of Monsters And Men, Angel Haze and Haim.
Graham Coxon of the band recently announced that there would be no new music from the band, despite a number of confirmed live shows for 2013. The band are confirmed for both Primavera and Rock Werchter, and the lack of any big UK shows has increased speculation that the band will perform at Glastonbury in 2013.
Blur overcame sound problems with their Hyde Park gig this summer
The band were mocked at this year's Q Awards by the event's host Al Murray, who poked fun at the band's lack of confirmation over their future plans.
In a quick quip from the stage, Murray asked the band: "Any more last ever gigs planned?" revealed The Metro. Blur's response is not known.
