Katy B has delivered an early Christmas present today (7 December, 2012), offering her new Danger EP as a free download. Listen and download below.

The new EP is a four-track collection which includes collaborations with Jessie Ware, Diplo, Geeneus, Jacques Greene, Iggy Azalea, Zinc, Wiley. The new tracks, 'Aaliyah', 'Got Paid', 'Light As A Feather' and 'Danger' are out now and are the first new music from the London star since the release of her debut album in 2011.

Katy reveals that the EP was a chance for her to work with friends old and new on beat-driven new tracks ahead of her second album.

"I thought it would be a great opportunity to work with people I always respected and wanted to work with", Katy says. "All of the tracks were written quite quickly because I was so inspired by the beats. It was important for me to give people new music before the end of the year, a taster and a warm up of what's come."

Katy B duets with Mercury Music Prize nominee Jessie Ware on EP opener 'Aaliyah' and reveals herself as a huge fan of the 'Wildest Moments' star.

"With Jessie (Ware), I heard the track she did with SBTRKT before it was released and was a fan straight away. She played my night and we've been in touch ever since," says Katy. "I wrote “Aaliyah” and thought it was a natural story for another female vocalist to guest on. I love this track as well because it reminds me of my earlier recordings with Geeneus and has everything I love about his style in the production"
