Singer and TV presenter Peter Andre has been forced to postpone all remaining 2012 UK tour dates after his brother's health worsened.

Andrew Andre has been battling kidney cancer since being diagnosed in February of this year. However, after news that his health had deteriorated, Peter Andre has now scrapped his remaining UK shows in 2012 to be with his brother in hospital in London. He was due to perform tonight (Saturday, 8 December 2012) at Liverpool Arena but an announcement on Andre's website announced the cancellation.

"His brother Andrew’s health has taken a turn for the worse and Peter has made the decision to be with him and his family at this time," said the statement.

"Fortunately it has been possible to reschedule the five remaining 2012 dates on the Up Close & Personal Tour to take place following his pre-existing shows in January 2013."

Ticket holders who are unable to make the rescheduled shows are asked to request a refund from their point of purchase.

Liverpool Echo Arena - 8th December
Bournemouth International Arena - 10th December
Brighton Centre - 11th December
The Royal Centre Nottingham - 12th December
Planet Ice Arena, Ryde - 14th December
The Venue, Clacton-on-Sea - 15th December
