According to new statistics, Madonna concerts in Latin America are outselling Lady Gaga concerts by three to one.
Despite the 'Girl Gone Wild' singer's concerts being three times as expensive to buy tickets for, she's regularly outselling her rival Gaga in South America.
Lady Gaga claimed to be playing to audiences of around 50,000 at her Peru show, but according to The Examiner, actual ticket sales were only around 17,000 - with many tickets for shows being given away in a 'buy one get one free' deal.
However, Madonna played the same places as Lady Gaga, and easily gained sold-out audiences of more than 55,000.
Maybe Lady Gaga shouldn't have turned down the offer to join Madonna on her recent MDNA tour after all.
Madonna did concede that Gaga had a 'good voice' while on Ellen.
Lady Gaga fans in Brazil recently showed their preference for the 'Born This Way' singer by burning a Madonna shirt.
The YouTube video was titled Brazilians Little Monsters Burning Madonna's T-Shirt, and showed a group of Lady Gaga fans attempting to set a Madonna shirt on fire.
However, the video gained more 'dislikes' than 'likes', with most of the commenters leaving negative messages such as, "So happy they listened to the Born This Way message."
Madonna fans also commented on the video, writing, "how pathetic? Too bad Madonna is still selling out latin america a lot better then Lady G."
