Peter Andre has been rocked by a series of Twitter rumours which claimed his ill brother had died of cancer.
On Saturday (8 December, 2012) it was revealed that Andre had cancelled all remaining live shows in 2012 due his brother's ailing health. Andrew Andre was diagnosed with kidney cancer in February of this year and his popstar brother is said to be 'in bits' as his health deteriorated.
The 54-year-old is currently ill in a London hospital, but Twitter rumours claimed that he had died. This was criticised by Andre's fans online as 'sick' and 'tasteless' as Peter remains with his brother in hospital.
"His brother Andrew’s health has taken a turn for the worse and Peter has made the decision to be with him and his family at this time," said the statement.
"Fortunately it has been possible to reschedule the five remaining 2012 dates on the Up Close & Personal Tour to take place following his pre-existing shows in January 2013."
