Boyband One Direction have announced they will release a cover of Blondie's 'One Way Or Another' for Comic Relief.
The boys will record the 1978 single as the official song for the 2013 charity campaign and will perform it live at the BBC's Red Nose Day TV marathon at the end of March.
Speaking to NME about the single, Harry Styles said: "We have grown up with Comic Relief and taken parts in lots of Red Nose Days at school so we were thrilled to be asked to this year's Red Nose Day Single."
"It's such an honour for us. We can't wait to perform our version of this iconic pop song and raise as much money as possible for this incredibly important cause that is really close to our hearts."
The band recently made US chart history after their second album, Take Me Home, went to number one and made One Direction the first British group to have both their debut and its follow-up reach the American number one spot.
Their debut Up All Night went to number one earlier this year when it got its US release.
Take Me Home sold 540,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen scan. Mid-week sales figured had suggested that the album might out-sell Mumford and Sons' Babel in its first week and become the fastest selling UK record of the year, but it fell just short.

The album took the number one spot in the Official UK Albums Chart as well as topping charts in over 30 other countries around the world.
Blondie recently announced that they'd be playing a series of shows next summer hosted by Britain's forests.
The Forest Live series is set up by the Forestry Commission and is put on without commercial backing or sponsorship.
