Bristol band Seasfire are beginning to make quite a name for themselves as the dark and mysterious types, and the new video for 'We Will Wake' does nothing to dispel that.
'We Will Wake' embraces the band's trademark dreamy style, building slowly to a darkly evocative climax. Seasfire manage to take both the electrifying and the melancholy, twisting them together over some menacing beats.
The electro-pop single is complemented nicely by the video - which shows ballerina-like figures 'waking' from a swathe of white fabric, and eventually dragging away lead singer Josh to claim him for their own, we imagine.
The video finishes up the band's busy year neatly, as Seasfire have so far remixed Lana Del Ray, performed on the BBC Introducing stage at Reading & Leeds Festival and supported bands such as Spector and King Charles - as well as releasing their debut EP and touring the UK.
