Frank Ocean is one of the success stories of 2012 and has now achieved a feat perhaps even more tricky than revealing his bisexuality in the R&B world - a successful Radiohead cover.

The Odd Future member performed the cover at a press event for Spotify on 6 December, and worked a short rendition of the 1995 classic into his set at the event.

The cover was met with whoops of delight from the crowd, who were lucky enough to see the star perform live - as live shows from Ocean have been somewhat scarce this year.

The singer came to huge attention when he announced his bisexuality earlier in 2012 and was recently named MTVu's man of the year.

Watch his performance of 'Fake Plastic Trees' below.

Speaking of Ocean taking the MTVu title, Stephen Freidman, president of MTV, said, "MTVu is proud to shine a spotlight ... on Frank Ocean, whose boundary-shattering music and commitment to personal expression has touched and inspired millions.

"He refused to let homophobia stop him, and the cultural impact of his work will echo for years to come."
