Britney Spears is working on an album of new material, it has been revealed today.
Britney has teamed up with Elijah Blake for what will be her eighth studio album and a follow-up to 2011 's Femme Fatale.
Blake, who has previously worked with Rihanna and Usher, told ThatGrapeJuice: "I think her fans will be surprised by it.

The Grammy-nominated writer took tweeted: "I've definitely had the pleasure of starting something I think is going to be big with her."
No further details of the album have been released but the singer has been spotted in a recording studio with Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins and producer Danja, who worked on 2007's Blackout, has confirmed he is working with Britney agian.
Britney recently teased fans while the album's anniversary trended on Twitter by posting "Blackout 2.0?"
The X Factor USA judge is enjoying chart success once again at the moment with Will.i.am's single 'Scream And Shout', despite the shockingly bad video.
Midweek figures suggest the single will enter the UK singles chart at No.2 this weekend.
Britney will be hoping the new material will see her rise to her former fame.

Blake worked on 'Climax' with Usher and the single went on to reach number one, so Britney will be hoping the writer will bring the same touch of magic to her new album.
Femme Fatale debuted at number one in the US but only reached No.1 in the UK, and the singer was criticised for having relatively little input to the record.
The news that she's working with Blake hopefully means that she's taking a more active role in the new record.
