UK singer Adele could be adding a Golden Globe to her already heavily populated awards cabinet as the song that she co-wrote with Paul Epworth has been nominated for best original track at the Golden Globe Awards 2013.
This comes a day after the news that Adele could break the James Bond Oscar curse as 'Skyfall' has been deemed eligible for an Academy Award. Although the Oscar nominations haven't been confirmed, the 007 hit is hotly tipped to get the nod.
James Bond himself, Daniel Craig has said the the film's title track moved him to tears. He told Yahoo! Movies: "I cried. From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in and it was exactly what I'd wanted from the beginning."
Other tracks in the running for best original song include 'Safe and Sound' from The Hunger Games, 'For You' from Act of Valor and 'Suddenly' from musical, Les Miserables.
Les Miserables has received several nominations including best musical and best actor for Hugh Jackman's role as Jean Valjean.
Adele could be picking up a Golden Globe award in January 2013
The 70th Golden Globe Award will take place on January 13 2013 in Los Angeles and will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
