Frank Ocean has hinted that he will visit the UK for a number of live shows, following the cancellation of a number of live dates in 2012.

Ocean was set to appear at V Festival and Bestival and as support for Coldplay in 2012 but cancelled both, giving no real explaination but saying the he felt like 'an a**hole' for pulling out of the slots. He also said that he was 'sorry as f*ck' and would 'be back if you have me'.

Now, in a new interview with The Guardian he has said he wants to tour the UK in the summer of 2013. When asked about potential UK gigs, he responded: "F*ck, yeah."

"That is a guarantee. Wait. Let me get back to my normal self. Nothing is ever guaranteed about anything, but if I'm alive and well this summer, I should see you guys."

He also suggested that he might move to the UK permanently, when discussing how Christina McVie of Fleetwood Mac quit the band and moved to England.

"That sounds like some **** I would do!" He added. "No. I'm not on any retirement kick."

Frank Ocean's debut album has been widely hailed as one of 2012's best

In the same interview, he also hinted that Channel Orange may be his one and only album - saying that he might leave music behind to write a book instead.

"Storytelling's a different thing. Like I said, it's the more interesting part about making music for me, or making albums and songs and stuff.," he told the broadsheet. "So much so that I might not make another album. I might just write a novel next. I don't know!"
