Dido is back - and has teamed up with rapper Kendrick Lamar for her new track 'Let Us Move On', the first release from her new album, Girl Who Got Away.
The new album is due out in March 2013, and is the singer's first album in five years, since the release of Grammy Award nominated Safe Trip Home in 2008.
The song features rapper Kendrick Lamar, and is the first single from the new record - which also includes collaborations with Rizzle Kicks and Brian Eno, amongst others. This isn't Dido's first experiment with rap - who could forget the classic 'Stan', which the singer created with Eminem? Still, that's where the comparisons end.
'Let Us Move On' is about recovering from a break up and, as the title says, trying to move on. It's a brooding, quiet track with a slightly awkward transition into Lamar's rap verse. Dido delivers her trademark gentle vocals, and is only slightly overshadowed by Lamar's killer rapping.
