New music: Chet Faker performs stunning cover of Burial's 'Archangel'

Australia has a host of new artists on the verge of breaking into the international mainstream in 2013. Alongside the likes of Flume and San Cisco, one of the biggest artists from the continent is Chet Faker.

Perhaps the owner of one of music's finest beards, Faker is also in possession of a spectacularly soulful voice, having already proven his worth with a number of releases - including a cover of Blackstreet's 'No Diggity'.

His latest track is perhaps one of his most breathtaking yet. A cover version of Burial's 'Archangel' recorded in an ex-butter factory in Newstead, Victora, Australia. Raw and emotional, but with an acoustic sense of drum and bass recreated with live instruments.

The results are simply spectacular.
