Producer and founding member of Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am has voiced his approval for Cheryl Cole's bandmates, stating that he wants to collaborate with Girls Aloud.
Cheryl Cole and will.i.am struck up a friendship in 2008, when the Girls Aloud singer featured on his track 'Heartbreaker', before will.i.am returned the favour in 2009, appearing on her track '3 Words'.
Will.i.am told contactmusic.com: ''I could do a track with Girls Aloud. That'd be dope to be surrounded by lots of hot-nisses. I'd also love to work with Prince.'' Girls Aloud reunited this year after a 3-year hiatus and will embark on a reunion tour early next year. Will.i.am suggested that another collaboration with Cheryl Cole is in the pipeline, saying:
''We are now dreaming up what the next project we do should look like and feel like. I cant say what it is but I want to leave that to her to announce. From working with Cheryl I've learned to put the right people together and going out and meeting talented, creative and relentless folks to surround her with. I am proud of Cheryl and she's fresh. We are a team.'

Cole was also the support act for Black Eyed Peas on the Europe leg of their 'The E.N.D World Tour'. More recently the pair were brought into the spotlight in a bizarre incident when they were involved in a minor car crash whilst trying to get McDonalds.
Will.i.am was recently a judge on the BBC singing competition The Voice, which will return to screens in the Spring, whilst Black Eyed Peas are currently on indefinite hiatus.
