Ke$ha's song 'Die Young' was recently pulled from radio airplay after the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting, and the singer has now said she was forced to sing it.
Ke$ha took to Twitter after the news of her song being removed, in order to say that she understands why the decision was made.
She wrote, "I'm so so so sorry for anyone who has been effected (sic) by this tragedy. And I understand why my song is now inappropriate."
The 'Tik Tok' singer also added another message, which has now been deleted, stating, "I understand. I had my very own issue with 'Die Young' for this reason. I did NOT want to sing those lyrics and I was FORCED TO."

The controversial singer also threatened to punch a Guardian writer 'in the balls' during a recent interview, when he said that women can't read maps.
Ke$ha responded, "If I was in a car with you and you said that, I would punch you right in the balls."
She also said that women should be able to sing about the same things as men without being demonised. Ke$ha added, "Women can sing about the same things as men but we shouldn't have to be put through such scrutiny and hellfire.
"Men sing about strippers, sex and drugs and it's praised and glorified. When women sing about these things, we're automatically demonised as sluts and drunks. It's not true. Women can drink and get laid occasionally and it is equally as badass as if a man is doing it."
