Emeli Sande is on course to land the number one album spot this Christmas, whilst James Arthur slips down the singles chart.
Sande has gone ahead in the midweek chart with her debut best-selling album 'Our Version of Events', with Olly Murs holding on to second spot with his record 'Right Place Right Time'.
The singer has enjoyed huge success in 2012, but is already looking ahead to next year as she told MailOnline: "I've been writing for a lot of people, so I'll be starting to think about new material and things I want to write."
The seemingly annual Christmas offering from Michael Buble is at three and Bruno Mars sits in fourth with his second record 'Unorthodox Jukebox'.
Emeli Sande set for Chrismas number one record
X Factor winner James Arthur, currently trails 3,400 copies behind The Justice Collective's Hillsborough charity song, 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother' which looks set to be the festive number one.
Worryingly close to cracking into the top two is 'Scream & Shout' brought to us by Will.i.am and Britney Spears which is in third position.
