Chris Martin has labelled himself 'the Christmas Grinch' after admitting that he doesn't put much thought into buying Christmas presents.
According to The Sun, Martin said that fellow Coldplay members Will Champion and Guy Berryman put a lot more thought into their gifts while Martin just doesn't care.
He said, "I guess I'm like the nasty green Christmas Grinch," before adding, "Sometimes I'll see something I think people would like and buy it regardless of birthdays or Christmas."
Martin also told Australian radio DJs Kyle and Jackie O the same story, saying, "Will and Guy are very, very good and they always give us lovely presents and Jonny and I are not very good. It's kind of sad!"
Coldplay were recently voted Best Wembley Moment of 2012 for their Capital FM Summertime Ball performance.

The gig was to 80,000 fans and topped the poll by 71%, beating Justin Bieber and Crewe Alexandra for their League Two Play-Off Final.
Martin said: "This is a great honour for us. We doff our cap to Capital FM and their amazing summertime extravaganza, and we're completely humbled by our incredible fans who voted for us."
