The latest name to join Queens Of The Stone Age's star-studded forthcoming project is Scissor Sisters' frontman Jake Shears.
Dave Grohl, Trent Reznor and former QOTSA bassist Nick Oliveri have already been named as guests to appear on the new album.
Today the band denied reports that the new album will arrive in March, but the record is still set for release in the first half of 2013.
The Scisssor Sisters frontman teased the news earlier in the week when he Tweeted "I just got to do something insanely cool with some fierce Queens."
He also Tweeted a picture of himself with the band yesterday, writing "jake Shears + Queens Of The Stone Age = satanic cabaret."
Although Scissor Sisters and Queens Of The Stone Age reside in different genres, the collaboration shouldn't come as a great surprise.

Shears recently told of his love for magic mushrooms and Kylie Minogue, he's also been an outspoken QOTSA fan, and was last year quoted in the Daily Star as saying "it'd be a dream collaboration" to work with Josh Homme.
"Actually, I really, really want to sing on the next QOTSA album. And he's a fan of our band too, as unlikely as that might be. I think that he's a genius, a genuine rock hero living among us."
QOTSA are set to headline next year's Benicassim festival, alongside The Killers, with Azealia Banks also on the bill after cancelling a string of festival appearances this year.
