Adele has trademarked her own name so it can't be used to sell products.
The singer was reportedly worried that people would use her name in order to sell perfume or jewellery without her permission.
A source told The Sun, "She doesn't want anyone exploiting her name by using it on products which may trick punters into thinking she’s involved with it."
Having her name trademarked means that it will be easier for Adele's lawyers to take legal action if someone does try and use her name on products.
Adele was also recently voted AP Entertainer of the Year, beating out stars such as Psy and Taylor Swift in order to win.
137 members of the media submitted their votes and, despite stiff competition, Adele was named the winner.
Previous winners include Lady Gaga and Tina Fey, and the award is given to the person who has had the most influence on entertainment and culture this year.

However, Adele isn't expected to release another album for quite a while.
A spokesperson told the New York Times recently, "The next Adele album may not come for some years, and it's impossible to predict its likely sales.
"We therefore regard this year's figures as exceptional."
