The Justice Collective, which is made up of hugely famous music stars including Sir Paul McCartney and Robbie Williams, have taken this year's Christmas No.1 with their cover of 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother'.
The charity group, which also includes Spice Girl Mel C and Paloma Faith recorded the track to raise raise funds for the families of the 96 Liverpool fans who were killed in the crush at the Hillsborough stadium during the 1989 FA Cup semi final.
X Factor winner James Arthur, who claimed a No.1 single with his debut release 'Impossible' slips to No.2 and the very un-festive 'Scream & Shout' by Will.i.am and Britney Spears drops a place to No.3. Rihanna's duet with Mikky Ekko, 'Stay', climbs to No.4 and Bruno Mars' 'Locked Out Of Heaven' is at No.5.
The Christmas chart is otherwise fairly quiet, with Alex Day entering at No.25 with 'Stupid Stupid', the oh-so-hilarious 'One Pound Fish' by One Pound Fish Man at No.29 and Ellie Goulding's latest release, the dubstep-tinged 'Figure 8' new at No.33.
Our Version Of Events is the biggest selling album in the UK in 2012
As predicted earlier this week, on the album chart Emeli Sande is the biggest selling record of the week, and perhaps quite rightly so. Our Version Of Events is the year's biggest selling album, so it seems only right for it to top the charts in what is traditionally the biggest week for music sales of the year.
Olly Murs' Right Place Right Time is at No.2, Michael Buble's Christmas is at No.3, Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox is at No.4 and Neil Diamond's strategically timed release The Very Best Of is at No.5.
There are no new entries in this week's album chart.
