Britney Spears' former brother in law filed a request for a restraining order against the star a week before Christmas.

Christopher, who is the brother of Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline, filed the request and made some odd allegations against her.

According to Radar Online, who found the court papers, Christopher claims that Britney stole his credit card. He claims that the singer found it on Kevin's coffee table and stole it, spending over £2,800 on his account.

Christopher says that Britney spent the money on vintage comic books, and goes on to add that she blackmailed him into staying quiet by saying she would go public and tell everyone that he was in fact the biological father of her son Sean Preston.

He states in the papers, "She also blackmailed me and told me if I tell the police that she stole my credit card that she will tell the world I'm the true father of Sean Preston, not Kevin."

However, a judge has already dismissed the case.

Britney's family are reportedly worried about her mental health, despite the fact that she wants to start a family with her current partner, Jason Trawick.

A source told Star magazine about the pair's relationship, "They've been having some issues.

"Britney wants a baby. But Jason's worried that she can't handle it."

Britney is currently under court ordered conservatorship after her 2008 meltdown, and the source added that it's not likely to end soon, saying, "They aren't ready to tell the judge that Britney is ready to go it alone just yet."
