The Weeknd has hinted that a new album in 2013 could be a very real possibility after posting a photo of his computer desktop.
The r&b star took to Twitter in order to share the photo, captioning it simply '2013'. In the picture, two folders are visible on the desktop, one titled '2013 art work' and the other '2013 untitled album'.
Looking likely, then. The Weeknd - real name Abel Tesfaye - also posted a somewhat more cryptic tweet in December last year, writing, "you bout to lose me for a bit. i'm bout to get back on my s**t."
The album would be a follow up to 2012's Trilogy, which was a compilation of remastered versions of Tesfaye's 2011 mixtapes and an additional three previously unreleased songs.
Looks like a 2013 album from The Weeknd is in the works...
The Weeknd was nominated for BBC Sound of 2013 poll, and also has a UK tour planned for March this year - with fans now hoping for perhaps a sneak peek at some new songs.
The tour will see the Canadian singer start in Manchester at The Ritz, before taking in Glasgow and Birmingham and finishing at London's Electric Ballroom.
