Any hopes of an Oasis reunion are well and truly off the cards. Liam Gallagher has reopened the ongoing quarrel with his brother Noel Gallagher in a series of fresh insults, calling him a 'f**king idiot'.

In November Noel Gallagher told BBC 6 Music that he had seen his brother recently at a party, saying: "He done the usual, which was hurl an insult at me and walked off, which was kind of par for the course - nothing new there... he's like a squeaky toy that swears a lot. In a blazer."

He also ruled out the possibility of an Oasis reunion in the near future, claiming he'd seen all but one of his former bandmates but he wouldn't reform with the band unless he was "skint."

These comments seem to have riled Liam, as the Beady Eye frontman passionately shot down the idea of hitting the road with Oasis and his brother again. The Daily Star reports that he said: "It was Noel who started that rumour, I've never said a f**king dicky bird."

The brothers have had a turbulent relationship since Oasis split in 2009

Liam's tirade against Noel continued, as he added: "F**k Oasis as far as I'm concerned - and f**k Noel Gallagher. The thought of going onstage with that f**king idiot and hanging out with his daft mates, the pretend drug addicts and all his snobs from Sloane Street...F**k that, not interested, mate."

Liam Gallagher was far more enthusiastic about Beady Eye, the frontman declared: "We're Beady Eye all the f**cking way. I've got a new record, I'm buzzing off it." Beady Eye recently confirmed that they will release a new album this year.

The Gallagher brothers have had a turbulent relationship ever since Oasis split up in 2009, when Noel left the band with the statement: "People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer."
