Robbie Williams is reportedly being lined up to perform at the 2013 BRIT Awards, and is said to have been booked to close the show.
With an absence of the Outstanding Contribution award in 2013 (the winner of which has traditionally closed the annual awards show), Robbie is set to celebrate his huge pop comeback in 2012 by closing the show. He is favourite to win the Best British Male award at the February event.
A source for the awards has told the Daily Star that Robbie will top the bill - but a spokesperson for the awards ceremony has refused to confirm the news, saying that the line-up is yet to be finalised.
Robbie Williams has won a total of 17 BRIT Awards in his career, the most awards won by any single artist. His first was in 1998 for Best Solo Artist and most recent was in 2011, when he won Best British Group as part of Take That.

Williams' solo career floundered in 2009 with poor sales of his album, Reality Killed The Video Star, but after a return to his boyband roots and a Take That reunion, he hit the No.1 single and album spot in 2012 with his 'Candy' single and Take The Crown album.
Robbie Williams is also set for a hugely successful 2013, with record sales reported for his upcoming UK tour (with Olly Murs as support). Tickets are on sale now. For more information visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
