New boyband ReConnected have released the video for their first single 'One In A Million' - and it is unlikely to give One Direction too many sleepless nights. Watch it below.

The single is due out 18 March, but the video has already made its debut. Featuring Duncan Bannatyne handing out ice creams at what seems to be a high school prom, and the stereotypical 'nerd gets the hot girl' plot line. All elements of storyline this still manage to be overshadowed by the awkward dance moves the band members pull on stage.

ReConnected are Bannatyne's attempt at the pop world, and even have the reality TV credentials to prove it - they finished in eighth place on the 2010 series of Britain's Got Talent and went on to perform on the tour. Now they're signed to RKA Records, which is part owned by Duncan Bannatyne himself. Hence the video appearance.

'One In A Million' has the requisite boyband lyrics, such as, "Like picking the numbers and winning the cash / Like kissing an angel, what's the chances of that?" and "I don't wanna wake up if this is a dream / Girl, you are the finest that I've ever seen." And they say that romance is dead...

What would Deborah Meadon think?

Despite all looking about 12, the three ReConnected boys are all at least 16 and one of them is even called Harry - like Harry Styles of One Direction.

ReConnected are set to support X Factor alumni Little Mix on tour this year, and if you're already a fan then check out the merchandise section of their website - for just £69.99 you could be the owner of a signed ReConnected canvas print. What a bargain.
