Arctic Monkeys join The Killers to headline Benicassim 2013

Arctic Monkeys have confirmed that they will be taking to the main stage at this year's Benicassim festival.

The Sheffield outfit have been announced as the latest headline act for the Spanish festival and will join the likes of The Killers and Queens Of The Stone Age on the bill.

Other acts already confirmed for sets over the July weekend include Jake Bugg, Azealia Banks and Palma Violets.

Arctic Monkeys will be headlining the summer festival which returns to Castellon between July 18-21 and are expected to tour the 2013 festival circuit to support their forthcoming album, which will be their fifth studio record to date.

Last year's festival saw The Stone Roses, New Order, Noel Gallagher all play the festival in Spain.


Arctic Monkeys are expected to appear at most of the major festivals this year

Tickets for Benicassim 2013 are available now with weekend tickets available for the special price of £145.
