Festival bosses for The Big Chill have revealed they have 'no plans' to stage the event this year.
The festival - which began in 1994 in London venue the Union Chapel, and moved to an outdoor setting in 1995 - was cancelled in 2012 due to a clash with the Olympics.
Organisers claimed in 2012 that they were unable to secure big name performers for the event, but fans of the festival had hoped for a return this year.
However, bosses at Festival Republic have now stated that there are "currently no plans for The Big Chill to return in 2013."
Sonisphere festival and Summer Sundae have also confirmed that they will not go ahead. The festival scene has struggled in the current economic climate, and the return of Glastonbury in 2013 is certain to have upped demand for first class line-ups and festival experiences this year.
The Big Chill has seemingly become another casualty on the festival scene
The 2011 event boasted a line-up which includes The Chemical Brothers, Kanye West, Empire of The Sun, Jessie J, Metronomy and many more.
The festival has traditionally taken place in the grounds of Eastnor Castle near Ledbury in Herefordshire.
