Sir Elton John has denied reports that he and partner David Furnish have had a second child.
New York gossip column Page Six announced that the couple had welcome a second child into their family through the same surrogate mother that gave birth to their first child, Zachary.
However, Elton's publicist has gone on record as saying that the speculation is just that, and that Elton and David have not added a second child to their family.
His representative originally told Page Six, "We never discuss our clients' personal lives," but that seems to have changed with the release of a statement from his publicist.
The statement reads, "Contrary to various rumours that have been published online and in other media today, reports that Elton John and David Furnish have had a second child are false."
Elton said in interviews last year that the couple would 'definitely' have a second child, telling the media, "At what stage we don't know, but we definitely will."

The baby was reported on the same day as Lily Rose Cooper's new daughter, Marnie Rose.
A source told The Sun that family and friends are celebrating, continuing, "Marnie is a real cutie. Sam and Lily are ecstatic about adding another girl to the family. A little sister for Ethel is brilliant news to lift the January blues for the family."
