Adele is reportedly terrified about making her live comeback at the upcoming Academy Awards ceremony.
The singer is reportedly set to sing the theme to Skyfall at the Oscars next month, at a celebration of the James Bond franchise's 50th anniversary and is 'petrified'.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday, "Adele is petrified of her comeback performance. She's been a recluse over the last year being a mum and she knows the whole world will be watching. She's been working flat-out to perfect her performance and rebuild her confidence."
Adele has previously admitted that she suffers from stage fright, saying, "I'm scared of audiences. It has gotten worse as I have become more successful. It starts the minute I wake up.
"If I know I have got a show, I try to potter around and keep busy. I get panicky and sick. I've thrown up a few times."
'Skyfall' is nominated for an Oscar for best original song - which if Adele won, could be added to the Golden Globe she won last night.

In her acceptance speech, Adele said, "Oh my God. Oh my God. Honestly, I've come out for a night out with my friend. We're new Mums. We've literally come for a night out, I was not expecting this.
"It's very strange to be here and thank you so much for letting me be part of your world for a night. It's amazing, we've been s**ting ourselves, you know."
She also thanked James Bond actor Daniel Craig, saying, "It's been such a wonderful Bond, and to my boyfriend Simon who convinced me to do it, and to my lovely son - thank you so much."
