Nicki Minaj has admitted that she is worried about saying something "too crazy" during her time as a judge on the American Idol live shows.
Minaj has already had a huge bust-up with pop icon and co-judge, Mariah Carey during her time on the show with the former overreacting to reports that Mariah didn't want her on the judging panel.
The diva's spat has since been settled and Minaj has told Ellen DeGeneres that she has moved on. Minaj said: "I’ve looked up to Mariah for so many years. Since she came out, “Vision of Love” all that. Me and my mother would sing her songs like all day and all night. So, I don’t know if she’s gotten over it, but I have.”
The 'Pound The Alarm' singer has now moved her attention onto making sure she doesn't "look like a crazy psycho again" when the hit American singing show goes live.
Nicki Minaj doesn't want to have any more American Idol bust-ups
Minaj added: “I just want it to go well. It’s about the contestants. We have a lot of great talent and I don’t want anyone on the panel to say something too crazy, because then I don’t want to look like a crazy psycho again."
"I am not really a crazy psycho you guys, Seriously, please, no. I swear…No, I am serious. I am really not."
