Just a week after giving birth to her second child, Lily Allen (now known as Lily Rose Cooper) has reportedly been struck down with winter vomiting bug, norovirus.
The illness, which has cleared offices across the nation during the winter, has hit the singer while she recoveres from the birth of new daughter Marnie. The newborn has also suffered health complaints herself, with fears she was suffering from jaundice.
The chart topper wasn't too unwell to tweet about the illness, hauling herself away from the toilet for long enough to write: "Norovirus in the house. Uh oh."
Norovirus causes severe nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
The Londoner gave birth to daughter Marnie on 8 January, 2013 after revealing on Twitter she had been eating curry in an attempt to induce labour. She certainly will be off the spicy food after falling ill.
Lily attended the British Fashion Awards with husband Sam Cooper in November
A source spoke to The Sun newspaper after the birth of Lily's daughter, telling the tabloid: "Marnie is a real cutie. Sam and Lily are ecstatic about adding another girl to the family. A little sister for Ethel is brilliant news to lift the January blues for the family."
