50 Cent is set for the first UK chart topper of his career this week, as his new track, 'My Life' claims the midweek No.1.

50 Cent is currently outselling last week's No.1, 'Scream & Shout' by Will.i.am and Britney Spears. The rapper has roped in two big names to guest on the track, with Eminem and Adam Levine of Maroon 5 appearing on the track.

However, he faces a stiff challenge from the new Justin Timberlake single, with 'Suit & Tie' currently at No.3 in the midweek chart after it's release on Monday of this week.

Biffy Clyro score a new hit at No.11 with their latest single, 'Black Chandelier' while Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway scores a hit single at No.21 with her cover of 'I Dreamed A Dream', taken from the Les Miserables movie soundtrack.

50 Cent has been making friends from the UK, hanging with The Saturdays recently

The Les Miserables soundtrack is currently at No.1 in the midweek album charts, with the biggest selling album of 2012, Our Version Of Events by Emeli Sande at No.2.

Manchester band Everything Everything enter at No.3 with their new album Arc and A$ap Rocky is new at No.6. The US rapper has also this week announced a 'surprise' show in London on Friday night.

Villagers' Awayland enters at No.12 on the album chart and New Order are new at No.14 with Lost Sirens.
