Simon Cowell has reportedly confirmed that he will not be returning for the 2013 series of the UK X Factor, at this week's Britain's Got Talent auditions.
The music mogul and master of talent show TV is currently back in the UK for the new series of the ITV show. Auditions took place this week in Cardiff, with hopes of finding another superstar to rival Pudsey the dancing dog.
However, it seems his current UK trip is his only planned for 2013, confirming to audience members that he would not be jetting back for X Factor.
The Sun newspaper reports that as Cowell made his way down the red carpet at Cardiff auditions, he shook his head when asked by fans if he was returning for X Factor.
"Simon shook his head. People weren’t happy," said an onlooker to the tabloid.

A shake up on the judging panel is expected in the 2013 series of the TV talent show, after ratings fell during last year's show. Tulisa is rumoured to be facing the axe from the show after the once popular N-Dubz star proved a flop with music fans - with neither her 2012 single 'Sight Of You' or debut album The Female Boss proving a success.
Nicole Scherzinger, who replaced former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland on the show, has also previously hinted that she was only interested in one series on the show. The Pussycat Dolls singer mentored James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas in the competition - who made the final two of the 2012 series.
