Shakira has shown off her huge baby bump (and topless boyfriend Gerard Pique in a new, nearly-naked photo as part of a UNICEF charity campaign.

The heavily pregnant star has stripped off for a UNICEF campaign to host a 'virtual baby shower' online. The singer is promoting the charity, who are encouraging people to give deprived children a healthier start in life through their 'Inspired Gifts' feature, which seeks to raise money for children in the poorest parts of the world.

Fans who contribute will receive a personal thank you message from Shakira and her footballer boyfriend.

"To celebrate the arrival of our first child, we hope that, in his name, other less privileged children in the world can have their basic needs covered through gifts and donations. Thank you for sharing this unforgettable moment with us," say the couple in an official statement.

The photos also put pay to any rumours that Shakira has already given birth, which were recently spread online by Pique himself.

Gerard Pique told his Twitter followers on 28 December: "Our son has been born! We are very happy! Thanks for all your messages!" (in Spanish), seemingly announcing the news of the couple's first baby.
