James Franco has apologised to Justin Bieber for the parody video he posted of 'Boyfriend'.
The actor posted the video on his WhoSay page, but it appears that Bieber's people didn't see the funny side of it and asked Franco to remove it.
Speaking to E! Online, Franco explained, "I was asked to take it down by some people. Bieber didn't contact me, but I don't think he was too happy."
He added, "I wasn't trying to diss him."
However, a source told E! that Bieber hasn't actually seen the music video, so he's not offended.
Franco also posted a video of himself lip-synching to Selena Gomez's 'Love You Like a Love Song', but Bieber's ex-girlfriend had more of a sense of humour about the situation.
She told E!, "I loved it. It was so good."
Justin Bieber didn't even see the parody video
Franco originally posted the 'Boyfriend' video on his WhoSay page but, after it was removed, fans posted it on various YouTube accounts.
The video shows Franco wearing the singer's trademark baseball cap and mouthing the words, along with Ashley Benson and another person who fans have speculated is his brother, Dave Franco.
