Cheryl Cole has no plans to get married to current boyfriend Tre Holloway, according to the star herself.

Tabloids had suggested that the Girls Aloud singer and solo star was planning to marry for the second time after a whirlwind romance with the dancer. The Mirror claimed to have spoken to a 'friend' of the star who said Cole and Holloway had been discussing marriage for some time, and that she was ready to move on from first husband Ashley Cole.

"She's always said that although Ashley's £100,000 ring was the most expensive jewellery she'd ever owned, she'd rather have had a £100 one and a happy marriage," said the source, as reported by the tabloid.

"Tre and her have been discussing marriage for the past couple of months now. They know they want to be together and she's desperate to start a family - especially as she turns 30 this year."

However, Cheryl Cole later took to Twitter to discuss the suggestion, calling the suggestions 'silliness'.

"Ok.. That's enough silliness now from the media!! I am not, nor am I getting engaged or married! Stop it *Stephen A Smith voice* …"

"… Its pretty pathetic and very corny!!" She added.

The couple's relationship is going well - but marriage is not on the cards (for now)

Cheryl Cole is also said to be prepared to close another chapter of her life in 2013, with suggestions that Girls Aloud upcoming UK tour is a farewell for the hugely successful girlband.

The source told The Sun: "The girl have known all along that this would be the last time they would all work together. At the press conference to announce the tour, they deliberately dodged questions about future plans because they did not want to spoil the excitement."

"They all felt it wasn’t right for them to be singing songs like 'Love Machine' and performing in the same way when they’re in their thirties," the source added.

Cole has not denied these rumours.
