The Postal Service website has updated to teased at a 2013 reunion, with the possibility of a new album.
Website BrooklynVegan previously hinted that the band could be getting back together and now the band's website has updated to show the band's logo, with just '2013' written below.
Duo Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello released one album together as The Postal Service in 2003 - almost ten years ago, as Give Up came out on 18 February.
Fans on Twitter are already reacting to the news. Tommy Isaac wrote, "If this is true I'm going to freak out hard core," and Danny Carey hit the caps lock to post, "THE POSTAL SERVICE IS GETTING BACK TOGETHER. I AM SO CAUGHT OFF GUARD RIGHT NOW."
Twitter user Greener wrote, "Early, but already this is turning out to be a great day. If The Postal Service tour in 2013, I will literally freak the f**k out."
Suzy Schultz tweeted, "V. Interesting! Hard to believe 'Give Up' came out 10 years ago!"

And with Coachella just a few months away, the rumours are already starting up with fans speculating that the timing is more than just coincidental.
Niall Prescott wrote, "Ah, the Postal Service news has been confirmed! Brilliant news. Set at Coachella then? Maybe London shows? (We can hope)," and Kelsy Rezansoff posted, "Wait, wait, wait... The Postal Service to reunite for Coachella?! Is this real life?!"
