More about: Mis-Teeq
Alesha Dixon says she is currently in discussion with her former girlgroup Mis-Teeq to arrange an upcoming reunion of the 'One Night Stand' hitmakers.
In a year already packed with reunions and comebacks, the BGT judge and occasional solo star says the three-piece (which also included singer Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash) are discussing a comeback, adding that she still sees a place for the trio on the current music scene.
"We are speaking and we're having a meeting," says Dixon to The Metro newspaper. "It's like all these bands reforming are just jumping on the bandwagon, but I'd be quite happy to go in the studio for a year with the girls and just work on a new record.
"I am so up for doing something with the girls. I have been for a long time. I don't think anybody has actually filled the gap since Mis-Teeq left, which is quite worrying as I thought we were opening doors for people."
Mis-Teeq split in 2006 after a string of hits including 'Why', 'Scandalous', 'All I Want' and 'B With Me'.

In the years since the girlgroup split, Dixon has released three solo albums and enjoyed Top Ten hits with 'The Boy Does Nothing' and 'Breathe Slow'. She has also starred as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing and Britain's Got Talent.
Sabrina Washington has released two singles (in 2010 and 2012) and appeared in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here in 2009. Su-Elise Nash has appeared on a number of TV shows and is said to now work for an IT recruitment firm in Sydney, Australia.
