Justin Bieber is now the most followed person on Twitter, overtaking Lady Gaga as the star with the most followers on the social network.
Bieber has this week hit 33.321m followers, overtaking Gaga, who has a paltry 33.320m fans hanging on her every word on Twitter.
There's no rivalry between the stars for Twitter numbers, as the star tweeted congratulations to Bieber after he overtook her.
"So proud of @justinbieber and all the Beliebers! I'm only happy to see your fans growing in size, you all deserve it! Monsters support you," she wrote.
Gaga reached out to Bieber after she was recently called a bully by Sharon Osbourne, clearly not wanting to spark another feud with a second big-name star in as many weeks.
Music stars dominate Twitter's most-followed stars, with Katy Perry (31.481m) at No.3 and Rihanna (27.946m) at No.4. Barack Obama places fifth with 26.158m.

Bieber's popularity will no doubt have been boosted by his recent split from fellow US singer Selena Gomez. The squeaky clean dream team ended their relationship
New York Daily News reported at the start of 2013 that the pair split after a fight on New Year's Eve and have not seen each other since. The pair's relationship was said to be struggling due to each of their work commitments - which, in recent months for Bieber, has included performing a show with nearly-naked Victoria's Secret models at a US underwear show.
