Award collector Adele has so far remained tight-lipped about any details regarding her new born son, but we may now have a clue about his name.

The singer was spotted out shopping for baby clothes in Los Angeles this week sporting a gold necklace with the name Angelo on it.

The customised necklace has sparked speculation that Angelo must be the name of her first child, who was born at the start of October last year.

A source speaking to The Sun said: "Those close to Adele have been told the baby is called Angelo. We're not sure of the significance of the name.

"She's wanted to keep it quiet but it was always going to come out sooner or later.

"Wearing an Angelo necklace not only backs up what's being said, it suggests she's not worried about people finding out."

Yesterday (January 22) Adele refused to reveal the name of her child, saying it's too intimate to make public and saying she refers to the child as 'little peanut'.

The singer was asked about the name at the Golden Golbes, where she won an award for 'Skyfall', but said it was too intimate to reveal publicly.

The 'Skyfall' singer also recently revealed her eagerness to tour her new album.

The soul star is currently working on her third album, a follow up to 21.

Speaking to US TV show Entertainment Tonight she said, "Absolutely, absolutely. I was meant to be doing it but then my throat issue happened, so I couldn't do it and then I got knocked up so then I couldn't do it."

It's still not known when the new record will arrive, but fans will be eager to hear her new material and eager to get the opportunity to see her live again.
