X Factor singer Ella Henderson performed her cover version of Cher's 'Believe' at the National Television Awards last night in London. Watch a video of the performance below.
Channelling the spirit of Adele with her composed, passionate performance, Ella performed the same cover version she stunned TV audiences with during the audition stages of X Factor in 2012. The cover version is a slowed down, emotional version of Cher's hi-energy 1998 hit.
Henderson performed to a hushed audience of TV talent and guest stars, dressed in red and backed with a simple piano backing. She was met with a huge round of applause.
Henderson was initially the favourite to win X Factor in 2012, but was voted out mid-way through the show. She has, however, since been signed to Sony music, along with winner James Arthur and runner-up, Jahmene Douglas.

Despite her early exit from X Factor in 2012, Henderson was said to have been the subject of a bidding war after her elimination from the show.
After her elimination from the show in November, 16-year-old Henderson immediately hit a career hiccup, when her age meant she was forced to cancel a string of club gigs due to licensing laws.
However, her career seemed certain to offer much more than nightclub gigs when Sony imprints Columbia, RCA and Epic wanted to work with the young singer. It is yet to be revealed which she has signed with.
