Ed Sheeran says he will be dressing up for his duet with Sir Elton John at the 2013 Grammys after he was named the world's worst dressed man by GQ magazine.

The pair are going to duet on one of Ed's own songs and Ed is up for a Grammy as 'The A Team' is nominated for Best Original Song. Elton himself has previously won five Grammys, as well as a Grammy Legend Award.

The duet means that Ed will be in good company, as Elton has previously duetted at the Grammys with Eminem in 2001 on 'Stan', and Lady Gaga in 2010, with a medley of 'Poker Face', 'Speechless' and Elton's own 'Your Song'.

And it seems that Ed is determined to live up to the occasion and prove his GQ worst dressed title wrong.

"I'm going to be wearing a very posh suit to the Grammys," he says to The Sun. "And if I run into GQ I'm just going to stick it to them. I've got a proper tailored suit made for me. If I want to be smart, I can be smart, I just really don't care."

Ed will be performing on 10 February, in front of millions of viewers at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Ed Sheeran - could he be ready to take fashion advice from Elton John?

Mumford & Sons are also set to play at the venue, along with Jack White, Rihanna and Taylor Swift.

Carrie Underwood, fun., The Black Keys and The Lumineers are also going to perform. Carrie, Rihanna and Taylor have all previously performed at the Grammys.
