Ella Henderson is considering including a song about her grandfather on her upcoming debut album.
The 16 year old singer auditioned for The X Factor with a song that she'd written about her grandfather, and is now thinking about recording a studio version.
She said, "At the moment it's definitely on the cards, but I'm just seeing how it goes. There's a lot of new stuff coming out of me, and I'm mixing up with the stuff that I've written beforehand as well.
"There probably is a possibility of me re-recording that track and releasing it. We'll have to wait and see - I've got no idea what exact songs are gonna be on the album yet, but I think I'll definitely be doing something with that song."
Ella went on to speak about the fact that she's writing all of the songs herself or with other songwriters, as she wouldn't feel comfortable singing material that had just been given to her.
She continued, "The main thing for me was knowing that I have as much creativity and I'm involved so much that the one person it has to come from is me, otherwise there's no point in me starting to work on an album at all."

Ella added, "I couldn't just sing songs that are given to me - it has to come from me. So, there's definitely a diary laid out and a plan, but there's no time pressure. I'm not under any pressure to get it done by a certain date. It's just when it's ready, it's ready.
"When I feel like I've written and got everything down that I need to say, that's when I know it'll be the time to release it."
