Lady Gaga has revealed plans to pay for her assistant to undergo a mastectomy in her ongoing legal battle with a former employee.
Gaga is being sued for £225,000 by former member of staff Jennifer O'Neil, who claims she was badly treated by the singer and forced to sleep in the same bed as the bisexual star.
Gaga is determined to use the money elsewhere however, and wants to put the cash to better use.
"Now her parents will keep paying for her and keep her until my cheque comes through, which she doesn’t deserve and I’m not giving to her," Gaga is reported as saying in court.
"She doesn’t deserve a dollar more.
"I’m going to give all the money she wants to my employees that work hard for me and deserve it.
"I am going to give it to Sonja for her breast cancer, for her mastectomy.
"I’m not going to give it to her so she can go and buy a new tube top."

Jennifer O'Neill, who was Gaga's assistant for 13 months between 2009 and 2011 has accused the pop star of failing to pay £242,000 worth of overtime in an on-going legal row.
O'Neill said: "I was by her side virtually 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
"That includes sleeping in the same bed with her. Because she did not sleep alone.
"I had no privacy, no chance to talk to any family, no chance to talk to any friends, no chance to have sex if I wanted to have sex. There was no chance to do anything."
