Chris Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos has firmly denied rumours that his client faked the community service he was required to complete for his assault on Rihanna in 2009.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney has accused Brown of failing to give any "credible or verifiable evidence" to prove he actually completed his 180 hours of service.

Geragos has hit out at these rumours claiming they are "libellous" and told the Los Angeles Times newspaper: "Apparently the District Attorney's office has completely lost their minds.

"They are making scurrilous, libellous and defamatory statements and apparently have lost their ability to read their own reports."

The D.A. officially filed the court documents that claimed Breezy's community service documentations were "at best sloppy...and at worst fraudulent reporting."

They go on to accuse Brown of actually being on a private jet to Mexico when he was supposed to be doing community service and that he was only supervised for nine or ten days instead of 180.

Geragos plans to ask the judge to punish the prosecutors and claims the singer spent time "scrubbing floors, painting walls and other forms of community labour."

The lawyer has also encourage Richmond Police Department to "take legal action against the Los Angeles County District Attorney."
