Dave Grohl is a guest host on hit US show, Chelsea Lately this week and he has been quick to make his opinions on Britney Spears known.
Filling in for Chelsea Handler on a string of special Grammy-related shows, Grohl joked that a career in the public eye has taken its tole on Spears.
Grohl told the audience: "She just kinda seems dead inside, like there's nothing behind her eyes." He added, "Like there's nothing in her boobs anymore!"
Although Grohl was clearly just doing his job as a witty guest host and may have even been fed the jokes, Spears fans failed to see the funny side taking to fansites to air their displeasure.

The pop star is set to sign a deal for a Las Vegas residency with Planet Hollywood the current favourites to grab Spears' signature.
However, there have been fears that such a huge commitment could have a bad affect on the singer's health.
A source told Mail online: "Nobody expects this to be a five-night-a week residency, it wouldn't be right for Britney right now."
