The Flaming Lips look like they might be celebrating The Stone Roses reunion by remaking the band's entire first album.
Website The Future Heart points to series of Tweets from frontman Wayne Coyne and friends that mention remaking three different Stone Roses tracks.
Last week Coyne Tweeted a picture of himself with the caption "Doin vocals for She Bangs The Drum hopin to get Channy [Leaneagh] of Polica to sing on it too!!!!"
Further Tweets suggest the project also involves regular Lips collaborators New Fumes and Stardeath.
New Fumes tweeted;"Ashely from DEF RAIN came by the dome to sing on "Bye Bye Badman"!!! Stone Roses cover."
Matt Duckworth also Tweeted: "Putting some congas on this wicked @hott_mt cover of waterfall, by The Stone Roses!!! @ Pink Floor Studio."
It's not clear if the new project is a Flaming Lips record, or rather one simply being spearheaded by Coyne.
The Flaming Lips have previously remade Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon, whie Coyne also assisted New Fumes recent remake of King Crimson's In The Court Of The Crimson King.

The timing couldn't be more appropriate, though, with The Roses' third coming gathering pace after their big outdoor shows last year.
This year will see them headline Isle Of Wight Festival and Coachella, and there are rumours that the band are working on a third studio album.
